Qué es Finding Light: Finding Light es un taller enfocado a fotógrafos profesionales de boda para ayudarles a mejorar su forma de manejar la luz ambiente, su forma de trabajar en una boda, su manera de estructurar su portafolio y su forma de llevar su negocio, pero sobre todo, es un taller que busca una gran convivencia entre fotógrafos de la cual todos nos vamos a beneficiar aprendiendo de todos.

Finding Light NO es un taller para principiantes, este taller está enfocado principalmente a las personas que viven de la fotografiía de bodas y que la fotografía de bodas es la base de su negocio. Los participantes deben conocer bien su equipo y deben saber utilizar Photoshop como herramienta de retoque.

Fechas: Abril 10 y 11 del 2012

Duración del Taller: Finding light es un taller de dos días, programado aproximadamente de 10 AM a 7 PM los dos días. La base del taller es muy similar a la del taller 1:00 Un Minuto en su primer día, sin embargo, el segundo día del taller estará más enfocado en la crítica de los portafolios de los participantes y sus tips para mejorarlo y a charlar de negocios. Lugar: Asociación Cultural Na Bolom

Inversión, forma de pago y lugares: El cupo del taller está limitado estrictamente a sólo 10 participantes como máximo. El costo del taller será de $7,500 Pesos. Las formas de pago serán PayPal y depósito a cuenta bancaria. Los participantes pueden separar su plaza con el 50% del costo total del taller.

Inscripciónes: Las inscripciónes se abrirán la semana próxima, los lugares sólo quedarán apartados con el pago del 50% del costo del taller únicamente.

The workshop will focus on helping you master the use of ambient light for your photography as well as building up the strongest portfolio that you can have and will help you improve your business as a wedding photographer.

What are the dates of the workshop? February, 28-29, 2012.

Where? Manchester, UK. The specific classroom or hotel where the workshop will be held will be announced in the upcoming weeks.

How much? Registration for Finding Light Manchester will be £400 Pounds. Participants have the option to separate their spot with a 50% down payment of £200 Pounds. The second payment will be due on February 18 the latest.

Un medio o una excusa.

“No conozco a nadie que haya logrado conseguir su sueño sin sacrificar días festivos y Domingos por lo menos unas 100 veces.
De igual manera, si quieres construir una relación con tus hijos, tienes que entregarte a dicha tarea, superar el cansancio, hacer el tiempo para estar con ellos y hacer de lado cualquier orgullo y egoísmo.
Si quieres tener un matrimonio gratificante, igualmente tienes que invertir tiempo, energía y tus sentimientos hacia esa meta.
El éxito se construye de noche!
Durante el día tu haces lo que todos los demás hacen. Pero para obtener un resultado diferente al de la mayoría, tu tienes que ser especial.

The means or an excuse.
“I don’t know anyone who managed to achieve his dream, without sacrificing holidays and Sundays at least a hundred times.

Similarly, if you want to build a friendly relationship with you children, you will have to devote to this task, overcome tiredness, arrange time to stay with them and put aside pride and selfishness.

If you want a rewarding marriage, you will have to invest time, energy and feelings into that goal.

Success is built at night!

During the day you do what all do.
 But to obtain a different result from the majority, you will have to be special.
 If you are equal to the whole world, you will get the same results.

Don’t compare yourself to the majority, because unfortunately, the majority is not a success model.

If you want to achieve a particular goal, you will have to study at the time that others are having a beer.

You must plan, while others remain in front of the television.

Les quiero compartir que el próximo 14 de Diciembre estaré participando en un webinar donde voy a platicar acerca de varias fotos recientes que he tomado y que proceso se realizo para poder llegar a capturar esas fotos de la manera tal cual las imaginé. La semana pasada tuve el gusto de regresar a mi ciudad natal para impartir 2 talleres de Finding Light en el bello Atlixco. Les quiero dar las gracias a todos los que participaron en este taller y sobre todo a los que volvieron a confiar en mi y regresaron a un taller impartido por mi. Muchas gracias a todos por los buenos momentos, el aprendizaje, las bromas y el trabajo duro de estos dias. A los 20 participantes, mis asistentes Galia y Vane y mi amiga Nayibe un enorme enrome enorme Gracias y un mas enorme abrazo. Gracias por hacer posible Finding Light!!!!

Last weel I had the joy to go back to my hometown to teach 2 Finding Light Workshops in the beautiful town of Atlixco. I just want to say Thank You to all the 20 participants and an even bigger Thank You to those participants who returned to one of my workshops again. Thanks so much for your trust guys! Also thanks everybody for the awesome moments, the knowledge, the jokes and the hard work of these days. El fin de semana tuve la oportunidad de aventarme este documental sobre Vogue y Anna Wintour. Es un documental que desde mi punto de vista va muy de la mano a la fotografía. Aprendí mucho de este documental, como que la barra para hacer grandes retratos esta muy muy alta, altísima y aún estoy muy verde, que ver estas revistas como Vogue te dan una idea en algunas ocaciónes sobre la edición tan estricta por la que pasan algunas de las mejores fotos del mundo y que incluso el trabajo de los fotógrafos de verdad más grandes del mundo es a veces también no gusta y es rechazado aún por bueno que sea. Nunca hay que dejar de mejorar.

Ampliamente recomendable, veanlo!
